SALARY CAP COMMISSIONER
Welcome to the Salary Cap Commissioner website. Please allow me to tell you a little bit about my goals and the purpose(s) of this website.

I will start with the best part of this website - it is free! All content and access is available to everyone with a registered account.

As a result of being inspired by (and now taking a page from) Scott Fish and Fantasy Cares, every league I manage will donate a portion of the collected funds to FantasyCares. In addition, 50% of all revenue generated from this website, SalaryCapCommissioner.com, will be donated as well. This website will provide full transparency for all donations made to and from SalaryCapCommissioner.com as well as showcase the good being done. A list of donations collected and made can be seen here.

The primary purposes for this website is to help me manage my personal fantasy football leagues by being a single source of information for all team owners in all leagues. In addition to providing resources like league rules and How-to articles, each league has access to a league-members only forum, private league chat and direct chat access to the commissioner.
A third and more ambitious function is the support and promotion of salary cap formats in fantasy football. There is information here for the beginner who wants to understand the basics about auctions as well as more advanced topics covering bidding strategies, nominations, and the risk/rewards of price enforcing. In addition, I also want to give fellow commissioners an opportunity to ask questions about establishing or converting their own salary cap leagues.

And my final goal is to keep SalaryCapCommissioner.com free for everyone. Not only do I want the content to be freely available with no subscription required, I don't want to clutter the site with advertisements either. My hope is to generate enough in donations to cover the associated costs but any amount is greatly appreciated.

So please look around, join the community (it's free!). Ask questions. Let me introduce you to your new favorite pastime. And if fantasy football is already your favorite pastime, let me help you crank your addiction to 11.
